Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia (MESM) was delighted to receive a visit from UTAR Students on the 21st November 2025, consisting of a total of 35 students from various engineering courses. They are mainly 2nd year students from degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics and Biotechnology. This was a meaningful session for us as we were able to share our brand of FA technology to students who represents the future of the manufacturing industry.

Demo Kits on Display
We featured five demo kits to explain latest trends and requirement :
Demo Kit 1: Latest Motion Control Technologies (featuring vibration suppression function)
This showcase explains software motion control and showcases Mitsubishi Electric’s Servo system technology.

Demo Kit 2 – Remote monitoring and control
With our GOT2000, GOT Mobile and FX5 PLC, we demonstrated how remote monitoring and control works.

Demo Kit 3 – Collaborative Robot (Cobot) ASSISTA & RT Virtual Box
This interactive ASSISTA Robot demo featured a motion sensor display and a pick-and-place application, designed to simplify tool handling in collaborative environments.

Demo Kit 4 – Next Generation HMI GOT3000
Our new GOT3000 demo highlighted advanced capabilities such as direct HDMI display connection, USB camera input, and wireless contact feature for quick data transfer. In addition, GOT Mobile was also showcased to demonstrate remote monitoring and operation via smart devices.

Demo Kit 5 – IoT Showcase: RFID Luggage Tag Printing
This demo showcased compact production line utilising IoT technology that is enabled by Mitsubishi Electric’s FA products as well as partner products.

Product Presentation
During the seminar, we had 2 presenters who presented on Mitsubishi Electric’s FA technology (PLC, inverter, servo motor, industrial robot, HMI and SCADA system) and IoT.
